racist threads, pictures of whores, dweeb names for guys, and other nonsense threads deserve air time, but when members of the TD community come together and do something positive for a little girl that doesn't have lot of time left....we shut it down.

That is certainly a sad story, and prayers to the little girl as well as the family .. That being said, that isn't the first time I've seen donation solicitation threads eventually anchored .. The thread subjects you're knocking ARE the OT .. Donation solicitation threads are not .. Coming in here bashing other threads to defend yours isn't a great strategy ..

I'm not bashing them. I called them nonsense. They are non sense. I enjoy the nonsense(not racist threads.)its part of the reason I'm a member of this site.
I meant that they were coexisting just fine. why not let the thread that actually matters and can make a difference in someones life keep going?

I see you still have thread going on the OB that isn't anchored .. That's likely what it is .. They're not going to let you do that on multiple boards ..

perhaps. I started the thread on the OB at the recommendation of another poster in the original OT thread. I'm also a more frequent poster over there and more recognized.

The problem is if these threads were regularly allowed, the OT would be full of all kinds of solicitation, not just ones like yours with a good purpose. It's not to snuff out your thread in particular, but keeping the OT spam free.
