You need innovation to clean up the Off-topic Lounge of a website about an athletic program of a school in Louisiana? Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds?

The thing is, you and other "model" posters talk
about a system to benefit the site. There can never be a system. It takes too much time and people will abuse it. The only system we have here is a few moderators that fit TD.com into their busy daily schedule. The true ever-present moderation must come from posters.

I know you made this thread more to express your disappointment in the posters of the OT as of late. Well if you want to practice what you preach you need to be the driver a form of natural selection on the board. If there is a poster you don't like, just stay away. If someone wants attention, don't give it to them. Not even a yawn icon. Don't give them any ounce of energy. Eventually they will get the point and the system will weed them out. Just like in nature.

I hope you can understand what I am proposing here. When it really comes down to it it's your fault, my fault, Max's fault, Tigah Rag's fault, and everyone's fault that the board is in the "state it's in". You let the things you don't like slide by. Stop doing that. Until you start doing this you have no right to complain about anything.
