Admin for a Day/Internship program

I think the Powers That Be (Chicken et al) should consider establishing an Admin for a Day program to let those wannabes dip their toe in the water and see what it entails. That might weed out the serious contenders from the pretenders. Also might create some appreciation for the current admin team (doubtful).

Elsewise, create an admin internship, where an admin applicant can test the waters for a week or two and determine whether to sign on for the long haul after weighing the benefits (high salary, medical plan, company car, 4-week vacation in Tierra del Fuego, etc.).
