Thinking about adding some yoga to my program to help with flexibility and strength. Have any of you done DDP Yoga or ManFlow Yoga? Those two seem to be focused on the movement and geared toward the male mindset. Any others that are good?

Better to invest in a program like one of those or just find some videos on YouTube and go?

Vinyasa yoga is very popular for strength building. You can YouTube most instructional classes if that's your thing. Go to any studio if you want to pay for one.

If you're trying to build strength and mobility, do them separately. You'll get much stronger and just as mobile in less time. A basic strength program could be done in 30 minutes 2 or 3 days a week. A mobility program takes maybe 5-10 minutes a day.

You have a recommendation? I’ve got to do something about my mobility, I’m so stiff

DDP yoga is great.

I personally, as a guy, enjoy Yoga with Adrienne more. She’s really patient and easy in her videos, which is good for me since I suck at yoga. She’s pretty hot too.

I just downloaded this app called ROM coach. It’s pretty good, gives you an assessment and provides short 5-10 minute exercises each day with reminders, and a library of other exercises and programs. There is a paid program, but I’m not sure why you would want it.

Yoga is great. If you want something different but can be like yoga check out MovNat. The warm ups have a lot of stretching.

I’m picking the hottest chick in yoga pants. It’s essential all the same movements in a pattern. At least that’s been my experience.

I’ve been doing hot yoga off and on for 5 years. I highly recommend it. Most traditional classes are 90 minutes and then you continue to sweat for an hour after that so it’s time consuming.

Peloton Yoga with Ana Greenburg is great. She has a beginner series.

I just watch a Yoga with Adriene video. She's been putting out great content for years, you can probably find a series she did or just pick videos at random and it'd be a big benefit to you

so this has been something i've been thinking about for a long time and after poking around a bit i decided to give Man Flow Yoga a go after seeing you mention it. I really like how everything is set up. I'm mainly interested in it for the mobility and recovery work and he has a lot of dedicated sessions to specific types of workouts you are doing along with a variety of full programs as well. starting to get to that age where i need to be more mindful of every aspect instead of just grippin and rippin at the gym.

I have a subscription to alomoves com. They have any type of yoga for any training level that can be sorted by instructor, yoga type, session length, intensity of the workout, and your level of training. You can use all or no filters. If you can't find what you want there, it doesn't exist.

There's a 4 part series that's basically "strength yoga" if you're looking to build body weight strength and flexibility. True Strength . There also an unending supply of vinyasa programs and flexibility programs.
