No man, I just mean you see regular gym goers taking them.

But see, that's sort of the point a lot of people on here are making....why worry about what others are doing when it in no way impacts your life?

When I go play golf and shoot a 95 and my buddy who took a year of golf lessons shoots a 78, I don't go around saying "well yeah, but he took lessons". It's not his fault for taking advantage of something that is available to make him better. Its my fault for playing three rounds a year and expecting to break 90. Just because he took lessons and I didn't doesnt mean he doesnt put in the work to get better. Same goes for weight lifting or body building or whatever you want to call it. Those guys who you see and instantly think "juicehead" are still putting in a ton of work, and should not be faulted for taking advantage of things that are available to help them meet their own personal goals.

I haven't made any negative connotations about it, you are projecting what you think I'm saying...

well yeah, but he took lessons

Taking the juice and lessons are not the same. One lets you know how to do what you do better, the other gives you enhanced possibilities that were not possible without them.

It does impact my life when I go to the gym and if I want to be up with the top guys I have to take steroids Now it doesn't have to effect me if I don't want it to, but it is annoying because if you are going to the gym you just get competitive

But neither do any good unless the work is put in.

So you are insecure with your own gains, which is no one else's fault but your own.

Sounds like you needa get on the tren train, brother!

well i just said if i want to be a big guy at the gym then the roids get very tempting.

I mean a natty can't compete with a steroid user with everything else the same. And going to the gym gets a bit competitive, I mean it doesn't have to but lots want to be the best. Of course you have a distinct advantage working out at home!

Sure, but again, a natty can't make levels he could on steroids. Steroids is like drinking from a golden chalice of unnatural potential ability.

Well the point was if I'm competing with guys on roids what you want me to do? That's why I said you about have to do them if you want on the playing field. This feels like goldennugget is correct in his arguments of people needing to defend steroid users for some unknown reason. I didn't even say anything remotely negative until you put words in my mouth.

Oh you want me to get on it, that's what I said!

I haven't in years, I need to watch it again now that I'm much more into lifting than I was when I originally watched it.

wtf competing in what? be the best at what? fricking exercising? powerlifting? bodybuilding?

because their are tested divisions in each of those

maybe this is why i dont get it. I have been doing the home gym thing so long I dont get the whole competeing thing. Just try and get a tad better each day.

That's what I don't get either. I never seemingly compare myself to others in the gym. I might nudge my buddy to look when some giant is squatting 600lbs or something like that, but I'm a little guy, and never would I compare myself to anything other than myself from a few weeks or months ago. As long as I'm progressing, or at the least, holding steady, then I couldn't care less how big or strong others are.

That's all I'm able to do right now. Workout each muscle group once a week basically.
