I mean I find it a little ridiculous that I can’t even order 5-10 pound weight plates off dicks or academy.

Exactly. Most bumper plates are made in the same few facilities in China. They're just branded differently. Quite the racket.

Yep even Rogue’s bumper and competition plates and shite are made China
Their made in America products are mostly the racks, kettlebells and iron plates
I might even roll with Titan to get some competition or urethane plates

Wright Equipment in Birmingham has 35lb bumper plate pairs for sale.
I believe all of their stuff is made in the US.
