I’m looking for a fitness tracker and my wife said whoop is the best but it has a monthly membership. Is there anything just as good or comparable without a monthly membership?

Go to ebay and get one of the cheap $10 ones. I've used several and they work as well as the $250 Fitbut my wife bought me for Christmas. Those I had all lasted 1-2 years.

So Whoop is the best one out there but it comes with that cost.

So at the end of the day is it really worth it

My Suunto and the Garmin I had did pretty much the same thing.

What puts Whoop over the edge is the day strain and telling you how much you have actually recovered.

I like the idea of a Whoop but at $30 a month, that’s crazy.

I have a whoop and love it. Did the 12 month upfront to avoid the monthly membership and it saves you a little but overall by paying upfront. If after a year I don’t feel like it’s worth it I’ll find something else but so far I love it and the data is very useful. Sleep journal, day strain, recovery, and sleep tracking are all things I take advantage of daily.
