This is correct. Most can only SSB squat around 85% of what they can back squat for this reason. It is why it is so popular with Pro Strongmen. Huge carryover to their events that also require a strong upper back and core.

SSB also has the highest carry over to sprint speed, especially if doing on a box due to the way you must stay upright to complete the lift.

That's what I hear. I bought an Elitefts SSB shortly before the Titan V2.0 came out .
Been happy with it but also would have been happy paying less for a comparable bar
Sucks for Elitefts that they spent the time and money on trial and error for another company to directly copy it but that's what Chinese companies do
