For the day after the bench press?

Assuming it's curls?
If so, which one, curves bar, straight bar, dumbbells, a machine?

Maybe squats? I am a runner, just not a fast one, it definitely helps my calves and quads some.

Eta, I know there are workout routines and apps etc not interested.

A barbell bent row would be my goto or squats... But you're not given us very much info.

Awesome but that's way too much for me, baby steps.

A lat workout might be good, however I have no clue what that would be.

How much time do you have?

What about a quick full body program 3 times a week?

For lats you could do pull ups and rows.

How many days a week? you could go a long way with something like “531 not doing jack shite” or whatever he called it. Would take you less than 30 mins 4 days a week. I know you said no thanks to programs but you are essentially asking everyone to help with your own program.

But if you won’t listen, you already do bench, so I would say chins/pull-ups, maybe something like thrusters too

Why you so angry baw, I did switch up my bench routine so thanks.

I can't do pull ups or chin ups, I weigh 216. I have never done those. I have no development of those muscles.

I'd guess I could curl bar 50 lbs x 5.

That is a one arm dumbbell row but I do it standing with my off arm supporting myself about waist height, which is a staple for me anyway.

A basic 1 hour back workout could be:
cable lat pull down
one arm DB row
Barbell bent over row (supinated grip)
seated cable row
Lat pullover machine or something
