re: what's your best all-around excersise for building muscle

While I agree that squats and deadlifts are great for building muscle, to me if you are looking for an exercise that works many muscles, Id have to say the clean and press. Especially if you incorporate a front squat between the clean and the press. Not really sure if you can consider that all one exercise though.

For those that say farmer’s walk... how do y’all fit them in yalls schedule? How many times per week?
How far do you walk with the weight? How many sets? How do you find a good starting weight? Do most people just hold dumbbells?
