I went from 205 to 185 using MyFitessPal as a calorie counting app. It has other features as well.

I use a combo of my fitness pal and under armour record because they sync. There are other apps that seem a little more customizable than MFP, but it seems to have the largest database of foods by far, so you kind of have to decide if you're willing to input everything yourself to have those extra features or not.

like others have said, myfitnesspal is the gold standard due to the database. Other free apps ahve more features than the free mfp but a crappy database and you will have to enter everything yourself.

now the sub to mfp allows you to pretty much input what ever macros you want and in the end thats all that matters.

Thanks, trying MFP now. Never really tracked eating correctly. Need to catch up with modern times.

i wouldnt follow their macro suggestions by the way. Avatar or iifym will give you good macros to follow depending on your goal.
