Working with my PCP and he has been fighting the insurance company but it looks like a lost cause. So, it looks like we will be going the compound route.

Ditto, I work for a great compounder. Lost 30 lbs myself on it. My email is in the post above if you want to work together
Is it a once a day shot?

Wegovy is the same as Ozempic, right?
Friend of mine gets theirs from Aesthetic Medicine on Bluebonnet for roughly $250/month.
Apparently a much cheaper option than thru a Dr.

Is he using his insurance? That sounds way low...

Depending on the dose, it could be too high. For example, we do a 0.5 mg dose at $99 and a 2.5 mg dose at $199

No, pays out of pocket. Apparently going thru places like that is the secret.

I just ordered tirz from Polaris for $340 for 50mg, which should run a 12 week course; I thought that was pretty good from what I've seen.

Polaris is good stuff. The owner is a solid guy and used to be in the same discord groups I was buying from.

what dose would this be considered? 10, 12.5, 15?
I've been researching going "grey" but still haven't placed order yet. Every time I work up the courage, I chicken out right as the products are added to my cart

2.5 mg for the first 4 weeks, then 5 mg week 5 though 12 for a single 50mg vial
I'll re-evaluate toward the end of that cycle about whether to continue or not.
My eating is already pretty clean and a good exercise habit so not worried about relapse
