Just watched a YouTube video about this. Stan efferding/rhino basically grilled steaks and cooked dirty rice for 30 minutes of video time. It can’t be healthy. I understand if high level bodybuilders want to eat that way, but he’s marketing this to the public.

I have used some parts of it. I use steak as a primary protein source and rice cooked in beef broth to push more carbs in.

Beyond those basic things, the remainder of my diet is pretty pedestrian. I have gotten good results, but I think it's tailored for people like me. I am skinny and have a harder time gaining muscle than losing fat.

To be honest, the remainder of vertical dieting seems very brosciency, but steak and rice have been good for me.

It is very healthy and what the diet is about. You only eat the rice if you are bulking.

Here is the book

You need to do more than watch a YouTube video. It’s nothing what you’ve stated.

Beef is the main protein. High quality beef, but if you can’t afford steaks, buy high quality ground beef. I usually pick up angus, sirloin, or chuck. If those aren’t available I’ll try to find grass fed organic ground beef.

Rice is the recommended carb source due to the ability to digest it easily and bread is looked down on.

Vegetables, fruits, greens are all highly pushed due to specific benefits. Orange juice and cranberry juice are recommended.

The goal is to eat nutrient dense, high quality foods. There’s versions for people who need to lose weight, maintain weight, or bulk. No, the majority of people aren’t going to pound the rice like Shaw shows himself doing.
