Cut that bitch out of your life. Very hard to do and takes will power. It sucks, but you just have to nut up. The reality is that she did you wrong. If you were to ever get back together, you would resent her and not trust her anyway. Cut that bitch out.

Use what space that isn’t being taken up in your head by her to focus on your training. Make some health, workout, running goals. A simple one or two to start such as eating well, running a distance, achieving a max, # of pull-ups, etc.

Understand this is a process and focus on it. As you grow mentally in your training, your head will begin clear up. You will become a better person.

Remember this is about you and you only now.

And on those very tough days, remember that almost everyone has been there before and that most have survived and conquered it.

Then go run some sprints. Hurt lungs and endorphins usually make the heart feel a tad better.

Join a CrossFit gym

Good looking girls. Built in social network. It’s not creepy to interact with women when you are actually working out with them and not creeping on them from the squat rack

Keep working out. It’ll make you feel better and get you in the best shape of your life when you’re ready to get back out there.

Also, don’t forget to take time for yourself outside of the gym too. Go do all the shite you couldn’t do with her.

Yup, I do it everyday. Its a courageous mental battle you must embrace. Let out that pain on the weights. Put weight on your back, arse to grass and come back up. Start deadlifting. Start pressing. Set short, intermediate and long term goals to holf yourself accountable. The gym is just as much or more of a mental therapy as it is physical
