Got a call yesterday from Defy Medical who’s been my provider for 3 years now that MS passed some legislation over the weekend to stop telemedicine (at least in regards to TRT).

Thankfully my local NP is willing to continue protocol but heads up for anyone else out there!

I keep my urologist because insurance covers it, but if it were to start costing more, I’d go 100% UGL since im now dialed in well. It’s very easy to draw you own bloods every 6 months using ulta. Those clinics are biggg $$$ makers.

Yea I imagine this will save me a good bit of money anyhow by not using them. They were extremely knowledgeable though and very understanding of labs.

My biggest concern with UGL is getting consistent quality product. Or is it really not that hard to get pharma grade test via UGL?

No I agree. In the beginning, a knowledgeable provider (hard to find btw) is needed. Most people do not do their research and listen to whatever white coat tells them. Mine ordered 200mg q14 days and arimidex 1mg weekly. If I hadn’t done my research and just followed his protocol, I’d feel worse now than before.

You won’t find pharma grade ugl. It’s either or. But you can definitely find a very reputable vendor who tests their product.

pharma grade means it essentially 99% pure in powder form. Most of the reputable UGL are testing in the 97%-99% range with zero contamination. Cant ask for better from even pharma grade product. most pharma grade from europe, middle east etc is going to test less than that.

Fair enough. Even more reason to not pay $100-200/month for oils that cost Pennys to make. One guy told me the most expensive part of brewing TestC, was the vial and stopper.

well lets see

test e is about $350 a kilo so lets say with shipping ~$1.25/vial 2 300mg/ml

the amount of oil in each vial is way less than a dollar- buts lets say $0.50

BA/BB- lets call it a $0.50 (its less)

vial- its $0.3 but lets say $0.50

seals and stoppers- $0.10 each but lets say $0.25

so

1.25+0.5+0.5+0.5+0.25=$3.00 per vial to make. the rounding up accounts for the filtration but lets say $5 to make each vial. this is assuming us domestic, and a smaller dealer so worst case scenario. so at $35-$40 per vial many domestic ugl charge...its still 7-800% profit. even when a company like QSC sales it at $10 per vial...their cost is under $2.50 total so still 400% profit and at 10 vials per pop...it adds up for them.

prolly still making 300% profit even at $4.5 per vial. every thing is incredibly cheap in china and when talking about actual pharma plant in china...i bet overall its no more than a $1.50 of cost per vial, even with labor.

Right. And compound pharmacies are charging $200 for a months supply over here.

What’s your thoughts on GSO vs MCT oil?

mct is smoother but that comes at a cost. you can inject faster which can cause PIP. my thoughts are unless you get less pain with PIP, then MCT isnt needed unless you are using some exotic blend or high concentration gear.

I do. I see my urologist for labs and prescription but his protocol is old school so I do more frequent injections and upped my dose a tad. He was okay with me in the total 500-600 range, I feel good around 800-1000. The price of test has gone up quite a bit, even with GoodRX, so I’ll probably swap to my UGL stash after this refill.
