I’m still trying to get my wiener dialed in. It’s much better than it was just from seat adjustments. I did 25 miles yesterday. I think I may get hooked.

One of the MTB podcasts I listen to is from people living out in the countryside near Salida. They also hunt. One of them was talking about going squirrel or rabbit hunting one day and riding with their bike to where they were going hunting, shotgun cross slung on her back.
She said it was amazing how much more respectful drivers were and how much wider of a berth they gave her when passing when she was visibly packing.

Nailed the metric century with an 18.4 avg! Now, that does include three stops at rest areas, but I really pushed it nonetheless.
