Wrapping up my 72 hour fast. Contemplating waiting until tomorrow to eat and technically taking it to 80+ hours or eating something small tonight.

Great job! That’s awesome.

Wrapped up 72 hour fast last night with some taco meat/cheese. Straight through me as expected, but nothing bad at all. Weighed this morning and dropped 12 pounds in 3 days and back in Ketosis. Ready to keep the train rolling now. Feel accomplished for being able to go 3 days without food. It really wasn’t that bad at all. You get hungry when it’s time to eat, but it goes away in 20-30 minutes.

Did you get lightheaded or foggy brained? I feel like total shite when I try to fast, but I want to try to push through.

I’m diving back in after this upcoming week. We have festival international and there is just too much good food to pass up. I’ve been maintaining weight surprisingly well these past couple of months. I’m still at 240. It’s time to drop the rest of this weight though.

I’m a weak man. Lost 9 lbs so far. But played in a scramble with my dad last night and had two vodka sodas, ended up at frickin Taco Bell.....

Not at all. If anything I had several bouts of euphoria more so than lightheadedness. Few cramps in day 3, but some Gatorade Zero helped with that a lot. I was honestly shocked how easy it was to do.

For me, it feels like what diabetics describe when their blood sugar tanks. I eat a little and feel fine, but I need a few calories to survive it feels like. Maybe I can push through, but at work, it’s impossible.

I experienced hunger when it was traditionally the times I ate. Some green tea with Matcha or guzzling water seemed to take those away. Once you get past that small time of discomfort, just back to feeling normal honestly. Time seemed to really fly at work. I don't know why, but I would think it was roughly 2-3 hours earlier than it actually was routinely.

What do you Keto experts think about the results below? I've been doing keto (mostly) since January and have lost 15 lbs.

Systolic: 111
Diastolic: 64
Triglycerides: 79
Total Cholesterol: 239
HDL: UNKNOWN
LDL: UNKNOWN

Technician said the results for the HDL and LDL was coming back with an error code because one or the other readings was off their scale. This was one of those come to the office physicals.

I'm going to my doctor Friday to get blood work.

Am I really healthy with super high HDL, about to die, or was the technician full of it?

This is the most likely. If your HDL were “off the chart” you’d be dead. Also, the tech could be fired for telling you that. Get a follow up by a non-moron.

Way to go baw

I'm back on the wagon as of yesterday. I want to drop another 15lbs and get down to 225. I'll reassess then. However, I am thinking that 210 is not unreasonable. I'm 6"3

Depending on muscle mass that should be a sweet spot.

I'm wanting to get to 220-225 also. I'm 6'2. I currently have a LBM of about 180lb, so assuming that doesn't decrease much then I would guesstimate a bf% of ~20%. From there I'll want to revisit my goals.. but I really don't have any desire to be any lower than 15-18%.

Same here as of now. I just don't want my belly sticking out in a tucked-in shirt. I'm 35 and a dad. I don't need ripped abs
