Maddox’s lift will headline “Beasts of the Bench” — a series of featured bench presses as part of “Super Saturday”, which will include several other world record attempts in addition to Maddox’s. Rauno Heinla going head-to-head against Jerry Pritchett to set a new 400kg/882lb deadlift for reps record and Johnnie Harris‘ attempt to be the lightest man ever to bench press 317.5kg/700lb are included in the lineup.
Ed Coan will be the official referee.
The deadlift is first and starts at 10:00 CST. It’ll be on Rogue’s YouTube channel or CoreSports’ page. The bench part will be on ESPN at 11:00.

They had 6x 25kg plates on the right side and only 5 on the left
The second he unracked it unevenly they cut the feed which is complete BS

Holy shite. So the spotters fricked this all up? Just read he will not have a 3rd attempt due to injury caused by reracking issue on 2nd attempt.

Loz just posted on his YT channel kind of the inside stuff. He said the meet was an absolute shite show. He said very, very poorly run. When Maddox unracked the weight unevenly and the camera cut away he was surprised because he thought it was going back to him, but instead the chicken shot producers completely cut the stream.

His first attempt was 725 which he lifted easily and got three whites. His second attempt his unracked the weight and it was misloaded. The feed cut out right then so you have to go to other channels to see his second attempt at 800. He got stuck on his second attempt and waived his third attempt.
Loz said he heard he’s hurt but doesn’t know wtf is going on there’s zero communication and he was the main color commentator.

Lol yeah look up in this thread at 11:02am at the start of the broadcast I was dying laughing how bad that idiot was. The post lift questions were cringe.
