I do CompTrain now and I love the strength part but I hate the Metcons. I feels like it has moved away from old school Crossfit. It’s gear to the Open and I couldn’t care less about that part.

well my gym does CompTrain and I enjoy it, so I came in to recommend that...
I've heard good things about Invictus, which gives you the option of programming goals to choose from
if I ever get around to building my garage gym, I'll probably go with Revival Strength

CompTrain is more like a strength and conditioning right now during this winter silver back phase
the volume on that program is no joke but i just dont have 2+ hours a day to invest in it right now.

Improve my strength in barbell and gymnastics movements while staying in good enough shape to pass my PT test and eat whatever I want.

Streetparking is pretty good. They have a variety of components and different workouts.

Check if you have D1 where you live. Before I moved, that's where I went and it sounds like what you're looking for. Similar pricing compared to a CrossFit gym, but you have options, such as the Strength class, which is something most CrossFit gyms don't offer.

That’s where I’ve been working out. We are probably going to test out Misfit Athletics because they have more flexibility based on weaknesses. If we don’t like that we’re going to try Soflete.

sucks they don't let the doors unlocked there anymore
It was great for adding runs into workouts
went back in 2015 on my way to the sand box and it was hot as frick in the gym bc the doors were all closed.

Right now 24 hour access doesn’t work. It’s only open M-F. I just got here a month ago so I haven’t experienced it in the summer.
