Any guidance would be appreciated.

I take a small dose of Delta-9 about an hour before bed and will do my absolute to avoid screens 30 minutes before I get into bed then I will try to read a chapter of a book before turning off my night lamp.

My wife is a high strung woman who seems to think she's on watch to see if the Germans are invading pearl harbor again. The littlest peep and she's already thought of 100 different bad things it could be. Literally a hamster in a wheel. And menopause has exponentially increased her manic state.

She's tried: Magnesium, Gaba, Ashwagandha, Melatonin, Sleepy time tea, Night stretch and meditation, Plenty of Sun, Exercise, Certain ghz sounds etd, diet and losing weight.

So far, only one thing has worked and that was half a Trazadone. Unfortunately, it was a prescription like 10 yrs ago that she refused to take until at her lowest, I finally got her to at least give it a shot to see if she could get some sleep relief. Worked like a charm. But now she's clinging to the last 2 halves and trying to decide if she want's to admit there's a real problem and go get medical help, or if she wants back on the hamster wheel. This last week she's back to barely sleeping and every single morning I tell her she needs to get an appointment to get it fixed.

Thanks. Like an hour before bed?

Doesnt have to be that long before bed. I usually take it 15 mins or so before bed, as I'm getting ready to go to bed.

Anyone here have no issues falling asleep but staying asleep is the issue. I go to bed around 9 to 930 every night and sleep hard as shite until around two. After that, it is hard for me to get any good sleep. I usually toss until it’s time to wake at 430 for the gym

My issue is that my mind is going 100mph

To me, no supplements will help with this. Keep your current routine and try:

-Set screen time end about 45 min before bed

-Journal all the things on your mind 1hr before bed, just vomit it all out in whatever fashion captures it (to-do lists, watch outs, family stuff, etc). This way, you’ve already captured it so no reason to keep thinking it over

-Soft music with no words + reading, stretching, or meditation.

For those that take Magnesium supplements, is it just accepted to take it in the evening? Anyone take it in the morning?

I split it up to potentially increase absorption, plus I take a good chunk.

About 200 by 1pm, another 400 after 8pm. Currently Threonate and Bisglycinate

Magnesium Glycinate at night is what you want. Magnesium chloride on your feet.

Magnesium citrate will keep you up all night doing emergency business.

And also any combination of bourbon, NyQuil, and melatonin.
