Shoulder Issues

I was on rings back at the end of May and hurt my shoulder. My wife is a PTA and diagnosed it as likely a small tear in my Supraspinatus. It has improved over time but not fully. I got a shot in my shoulder a few weeks ago. I've continued to progress on squats and deads but it has certainly hurt me on my presses and pull-ups. How should I proceed from here? Over the last week I've done some rehab exercises that have helped but I don't know if it is the shot or the excerscises that is helping. Injury sucks! This has been my first major setback as I have been gaining strength over the last year. Supraspinatus

I feel your pain. Literally. Steroid injections would last about 6 weeks for me, but once they wore off the pain would return. Changed course and am doing physical therapy and dry needling now. I'm a few weeks in, and the pain is by no means gone, but seems to be "dulled". Hope this does the trick. Physical therapist did say it's something that isn't quickly fixed...will take time and plenty daily stretching exercises.
ETA: Barbell bench is almost impossible. I've had to switch to dumbells, and I look rather awkward catering to my shoulder to get them up. Once I'm positioned, the presses dont bother it much. I can even feel it "pulling" inside my shoulder on incline dumbell curls

Crossover Symmetry has worked wonders on my shoulders. And has built stability at the same time.

Would something like that be to prevent injury or could it also fix injury?

Crossover Symmetry is a fricking gift from God; fixes imbalances, improves stability, and is remarkably convenient. I'm convinced that a lot of people have an imbalance with lower/upper traps, and CS is an easy remedy.
And for those questioning the cost and thinking of rigging it themselves, I had one of their bands break (after three years) and the sleeve made it just barely pop my chest. If it had been a similar weight band without the sleeve, I would have lost a nipple.

I’ve heard some about this but dang it’s pricey. Can it help with rehab or is it only a preventative. I’m open to it but am just. It sure how it works. How often do you do it and how long does it take? Which brand is best?

Switch to a low weight high volume body building routine for presses. It fixed my shoulder pain and now I’m back to doing barbell presses without pain.

What resistance do you have, athletic or elite? I don’t wanna get the athletic and regret not getting the elite. Ex college athlete, ex bodybuilder, now just a 41 year old with shitty shoulders who still enjoys the gym.

I've been dealing with impingement for quite a while now. Shoulder injuries a bitch.

If you want to go cheapest to most expensive sans surgery:
BPC-157
Thymosin Beta-4
PRP
Stem Cells

I just got one recently and it is awesome. I was able to hit sets of 315x 10 with zero shoulder pain after not doing barbell bench for a couple of years.
Edit: I had shoulder surgery 18 months ago

HFP- I’m not using mine to lift heavier per se, but just to do barbell bench pain free.
How much would you say if helps you weight wise?
Since I haven’t been doing barbell bench at all, it’s hard for me to have a reference point.
*i have a full boar slingshot fwiw

I have the yellow one.
It doesn't add a ton for me as I don't get a lift off and I have to work on the technique but it might add 10lbs on the top end for me. Others see much higher. Depends if you are chest weak or tricep weak.

Thats the same one I have.
If it only adds 10 pounds, then that would mean I havent lost as much strength as I thought.
It amazing how I can bench with no pain using it.
I wish I had bought one earlier
