This will sound unbelievable and likely absurd, but I deadlifted my way out of Sciatica. Was in a lot of pain, and couldnt hardly tie my shoes. Went into the gym and started strict form deadlifting with 25lb bumpers. Slowly worked my weight up over the following weeks and the back pain went away. I dont know if i would try it, and realize it sounds absolutely ridiculous, but it worked for me. I must have had some weak muscles that need activating.

I would recommend you go to a hospital to see a neurologist or something.

I think chiro's are quacks and con artists. Go to an ortho who should recommend PT. Quitting diet sodas, being active, and lifting weights has pretty much cured any back problems i used to have, and I had a ruptured disc.

If you want to try the shot in the back thing, I highly recommend you consider this guy. My wife used him years ago and she was able to avoid surgery and going to neuros, chiros, etc. She has been pain free for years now.

All neuros, arthos, etc. can and do steroid shots for pain but this is all that Dr. Waring does and he is considered one of the best in the US.
