Shipping:

9/10: Overall, the pallet was well packed, organized, and wrapped. Only a few boxes with damage but the equipment is well packaged inside each box.

R&L Carriers shipped freight and the driver was very helpful pulling the shipment as I pushed about 50 yards. He then dropped it in the garage for me. 10/10 for service.

All tucked away in the garage bathroom until I could assemble.

Assembly:

10/10: Very easy to assemble as I'm sure most racks would be. It's pretty straight forward and I put it together by myself because I was too impatient to wait for my wife to get home from work. I do not recommend assembling alone!

These are the size of the sockets I used and ended up being quite the work out itself.

The most difficult part of assembling was the REP nameplate cross-member because it is pretty heavy and it was difficult holding it with one hand until I could work a bolt to each of them. (Should have waited for help!)

Extras:

I ordered the rack with flip up safeties, safety arms, band pegs, multi-grip pull-up bar, weight storage, dual barbell hanger, and regular J-cups(the ones I wanted were out of stock). I also had a Rep gladiator bar from a previous order as well as Rep black bumpers.

So far I would rate it a 9/10 in quality. The standard J cups aren't super impressive but they are functional. My safety was missing a piece of the liner but Rep took care of the issue immediately. Great customer service 10/10.

Please feel free to ask any questions!

If you want a serious J-Cup upgrade I can’t recommend the Ghost Strong Roller J-cups enough. They are expensive but I absolutely love them. YouTube Review If money isn’t an issue it’s worth checking out.

Love the setup - very clean. Also like the multigrip pullup bar.

I have that, but I also have a knurled pull-up bar that extends across the front of mine. If that’s an option I’ve used both bars quite a bit. When I’m doing heavy weighted pull-ups, the front bar is easier to get to. If I’m going high rep bodyweight pullups or an odd grip I jump into the multigrip bar. Just food for thought.

If I had to do my install again, I’d install the rack laying down. Would have been easier to attach the crossmember and some of the bottom bolts. Like Rep, the Rogue crossmember was heavy as hell. Then have a buddy or wife help flip the rack upright when completed. They really aren’t as heavy as they look when they’re unloaded.

Great review! Appreciate the time you put into it! Go get your gainz on!

Thats fine as hell. Great review and glad you are loving it. My only complaint on the pr5000 is the chrome bolts.

I plan to sell my elitefts r3 rack and getting 2 pr5000 6 post racks. Plan to use one with the sorinex adjustable jammer arm carriage with my hurricane arms. Gonna bridge them together. I want to go raw steal on uprights so hopefully the bolts won't stand out.

I do plan to get the ghost roller j cups eventually too, but I want to get my monolifts changed to do the 1" holes instead of the 5/8". I can't recommend the monolifts enough, mainly for benching by yourself.

I have looked at those, very nice. Christmas is right around the corner, maybe I'll get lucky.

I'm going to add another pull-up bar once they get more stuff back in stock to help save on shipping or wait until I move to Colorado to pick things up.

The next time I put it together I will be recruiting a friend or my wife.

I was looking hard between the Rogue and Rep and the deciding factor was being able to save on shipping once I move. So far the quality has been great and the customer service is great too.

That raw steel looks fine as hell. Keep us posted. I don't think the bolts will look too bad with it but if they do maybe you could find some stainless steel bolts to replace them later on.

I plan on getting the ISO arms when they come back in stock. Hoping they let current rack owners have first dibs like they did on the release.

They had some in stock yesterday. They have an ETA page that has been pretty accurate on the arrivals.
