I elevated my heels and felt much more comfortable in the overhead squat bottom position. I usually train in my barefoot/minimalist shoes which have a 0 drop heel, but I think my ankle mobility hasn't been the best. I might pick up some nano x2's or metcons since both offer a pretty stiff heel but still able to knock out some cardio and metcon stuff.

yea overhead squats are much easier on a slant board, still not easy though, nothing makes them easy

I've noticed that a squat with weight in front is WAY easier for me to maintain balance. Think I'll have to go to a slant board for weight on my shoulders.

Old bump but me and a friend are doing this one right now. I picked it because it does Olympic lifts. Liking it so far, kinda wish it had more reps or sets but I like it, only been one day so maybe that all changes

This had a lot of snatch type lifts in it that I wasn't ready for. I'll circle back to the program next summer probably, but need to focus on overall strength before coming back to it.
