Anyone that’s finished the month got plans for tomorrow? I think I’m going with Simple Strength Saturday from Facebook.

Looks like I’ve found my workout for tomorrow.

I was thinking about doing some of his 1000 rep workouts, but the last one I did took close to 90 minutes and I don’t have that much time in the mornings.

I hate taking up the bench press for 10 sets since we only have 1 but when I get there it’s usually pretty slow.

Oak Tree Day 1

Going to try and run this on off days. May have to skip around a little to avoid same muscle groups 2 days in a row.

Did day 1 of sports strength. I really really enjoyed the cleans. I hadn't done those in probably 25 years. Kept it very light and the form actually didn't look to bad. I'm sore as hell today.

Same here, I think we did them my 10th grade year. Then we stopped working out as a team. Needless to say, we sucked

Day 17 of Pump City had 2x2 87% deadlifts. They felt light with the 90% TM so we just kept going up a bit til grip gave out at my 1RM. What is it about deadlifts that makes you want to just keep adding weight once you start doing them? Anyway back is toast now and so are my biceps after the reverse grip bb curl/hammer curl cardio.

They make you feel like a beast when you start getting heavy. I love it.

Jose, what do you think about Big Biscuits and Backarms? I’ve never done hip thrusts but I like doing new exercises even though it may be embarrassing.

Day 2 of sports strength. Not sure what was so rough about that, but it was. I went heavier on the clean pulls, but still light. They looked easy on the how to video but they definitely affected me. The heavy DBRESS was brutal, the bench/row superset was harder than it looked on paper. Big 30s can go to hell, same with farmers walks

ETA: my traps and upper back are bigger than I’ve ever seen them. I think I’m going to run this all the way through this summer.

Big biscuits and back arms done.

I ended up doing DB thrusters because every bar was occupied. I felt like a girly man doing them and felt like all eyes were on me

Way to battle it out. I wanted to do this one because I’ve seen him starting to add hip thrusters to more plans and I’ve shied away because of embarrassment. I’m going all in today. How long did todays take?

Today's took me a while maybe 70 minutes. I don't stick to the usual break times and have to speed it up some. Every time you post your times, mine are much slower.

Oak Tree Day 2

Day 2 down! It was a nice heavy day. Right about 1:30 total. I also decided to run the squats a little longer than prescribed. Instead of stopping with 2@80%, I continued with 3@80/90/100% of TM. Pretty positive I could've gone higher if I had started with the 3 rep scheme from the beginning.
