What’s everyone’s favorite PPL routine? I lift in my garage gym, which has a decent amount of equipment, but no leg machines, cable crossovers or any of that. It’s all free weights.

What y’all got?

What would you recommend for a 6 day? I can do Mon-Sat then rest Sun. Looking to add a little more volume right now and figured PPL might be a good approach to do that.

ETA - I'm wrapping up Pool Season next week.

I’ve been doing the PPL version of this (PPLRestPPL for 2x the cycle in a week) since March and really like it. I’m transitioning to barbell on main lifts now because I maxed my dumbbells out at 8x10lb weights. I think I’m going to just keep progressing with barbell and basically the same program though. If I bust arse I can get it done in an hour most days.

Honestly I would just pick a ppsa program that has the focus on what you are looking for and do that or one of the 531 programs.

I mean you can do one of john meadows if looking to ramp volume but you will have to start doing alot of substitutions.

Yep, I’ll probably stick with PPSA and try a 5 day/week one. Those are just so good for a home gym. I’ve been adding a little extra volume by adding lunges or goblet squat supersets with some of the accessory sets at the end of the workouts. Might just keep doing that.

Yea I think his programs are perfect for home gym which makes sense because he works out in a garage gym.

I add upper body volume in the form of chins and ring pushups and tons of tib and calf raises. All as part of the warm up, along with Nordic curl variations and knees over toes split squats with bodyweight only.
