What is the best/your favorite protein powder?

I use Promix unflavored whey isolate and cane sugar post workout in a 1:1.5 ratio. Sometimes I will add cocoa powder.

No idea what the best is, and I don't really have a favorite. But I buy the 5lb jugs of Optimum Nutrition whey from Amazon because:
Prime delivery
Mixes easy just by stirring
Mixing the double rich chocolate or mocha chocolate in hot water makes it kind of taste like a hot chocolate

I like True Nutrition since its very customizable.
Also, Biotest's Metabolic Drive is also a good choice.

Stay away from protein powders.
The best thing after a workout is within 30 minutes eating actual meat.
Shakes should be a worst case I’m on vacation scenario.

Add another vote for this for me. Mixes well, no clumps. Vanilla is a good complementary flavor I'll add to shakes to mix with fruit or with Gatorade for a workout shake.

I've used..
Ascent
Progenex
Xendurance
10 Performance
Choose one not loaded with fillers and you will be fine.

Worst advice I've seen on the Health/Fitness Board. Congratulations!

Exactly. Some of the advice here is just wrong.
Posters throw out advice without even knowing what shape the person is in. Meat after a workout over powder is a no-brainer and your reply is exactly what I’m talking about. It’s just bad.
*And FYI I lost 20 lbs of fat and gained 4 pounds of muscle in a little over a month.

Those shakes always wrecked up my stomach.
I just eat eggs. Hard Boiled Eggs.
3 or 4 of them.
I think post workout protein is over rated though.

True. I won’t eat a pound of meat if I’ve worked out for 20 minutes
And I drink shakes throughout the day but not immediately after a workout. Your body needs the stuff it can only get from a food source.

OP asked people's favorite protein powder. By and large, I try not to ignore the question.
I agree whole foods are better, but protein powder isn't just about what's optimal. Post-workout, I don't think most people are looking for a full meal.
A shake is simple, fast and easy. It's better to get something not 100% optimal than not do anything at all. It's hard for a lot of people to do whole foods at all times, and that's why protein powder is a solution.

Can you tell us how you lost 20 pounds of fat and 4 pounds of muscle in 1 month?

Would be my guess.
