Anybody got a live stream for WS? Tried irunfar but doesn’t look like they have a live.

Jimothy and Courtney out front per usual.

I think the best you can get is following irunfar on Twitter. If anyone else knows of a live stream, I’d be interested too

Courtney D. with her basketball shorts cracks me up.

yep

I wonder if she actually still likes wearing them or if she is just too scared to mess with her brand now

Either way it’s always funny seeing her just killing it with her shin length shorts while everyone else is out there in 3” inseams

So he competes.

And why should he be? I'm not knocking the guy. I envy the miles. If you're going to compete why not move some miles around and get on the oval once a week? There's competition and then there's domination. He does't want to be the best at his sport?

Ultra still feels kind of new but it seems there is already a sea change coming. Like it or not, world class road runners are coming and are about to dominate the ultra arena. These guys should be training for that reckoning.

But like I said I admit my ignorance and I misunderstand their purpose. I'll even admit I have a little ax to grind against the community itself from little shite like when I hear "that guys going out too fast, we'll see him soon" when I trail race.

I welcome that. I’d love to see how Mo, Rupp, or Kepoche translate to trails. Obviously some of it will adapt well but 12k feet of elevation is a world of difference.

I’ve learned to not talk shite and make no assumptions about runners. I recently ran at a brewery for a 5k they do every week and did a 22 minutish 5k and this chubby dude beat me by a minute. When he took off with me and the other leader I said ”we’ll catch you on the back side.”

So I don’t think or say things like that any more.

What really kills me is that there really isn't a way to watch it right? I wan't to spectate these ultras so bad. I think it'd be great tv, especially if you love running. Racing is my favorite sport to watch and it really isn't close.

Nope. No way to watch it and I agree that I’d love to also as it’s become my favorite also. At least the Pre Classic will be on an NBC station tomorrow.

I actually really enjoy watching races and CrossFit games and they’re really difficult to get on television.

I dropped from the 50k to the half for my race in September just so my mates and I could watch the ultra runners and hang with my family. I’m excited to just chill with the community for a while.

Damn I wish there was a way to watch this. Although I’d imagine the logistics of filming a 100 mile race through that terrain would be a challenge to say the least.

At the very least I hope to crew or pace someone there one day. Hopefully billy yang puts something out on WS this year.

He won’t break 14 but he’s going to beat last year’s record by 20 minutes.

Looks like Courtney is a DNF. She was so far ahead too.

Saw that, wish he'd post more. I enjoy his posts. Same with pmjlsu I think it is? He kills it on Strava between running/cycling. I believe he did 45 miles (running) for his 45th a few weeks ago.
