Need supplement advice for STAYING asleep, not falling asleep

Things I’m listing that don’t need to be discussed because they’ve already been addressed, eliminated by bloodwork/Dr., or were never an issue (non-factors).
Screen time
Diet
Exercise
BMI
Stress/Anxiety
Overthinking
Heart issues
Circulation issues
Nerve damage
Vitamin/mineral deficiency
Thyroid
Infection
Overtraining
Supplements I’m not open to (past experience/used for other reasons):
KSM-66: caused anhedonia and sexual dysfunction after so long.
Theanine: sexual dysfunction after so long
Antihistamines: feel like shite the next day and poor erection quality.
About two months ago, I started out having a tingling sensation in my calves. I then started having a dull pain in my upper abdomen, but it never moved from that area. I then started waking up at night(sometimes hot) and the tingling intensified. There were times when all 3 symptoms would happen synergistically, so I know they are caused by the same issue. I initially thought it might be a pinched nerve, but I stopped thinking that once I started having the stomach issues. I was nearly convinced that I had a hyperthyroidism, but that was eliminated through blood work. I thought it might be GERD, but it never moves into my esophagus, and I don’t have indigestion or reflux. I did recall that I had both genetic variants (23&me test)for celiac disease, which just means I’m much more likely to acquire it at some point. I cut out gluten & dairy (damage from gluten makes digesting dairy difficult). I do feel better since then. I also cut out the bulk of my supplements and am just down to a whole food multivitamin, fish oil, and a probiotic. I went to a sleep doctor to check for sleep apnea, but he ran blood work, tested my nerves, and checked my heart instead. He must have been unconvinced that because I don’t snore, don’t gasp for air when waking, and I’m healthy looking and muscular, that it’s not a high probability. I decided to stop seeing him because it was clear he was just trying to make as much money off me as possible before running a sleep test.
My tingling and stomach issues have completely cleared up in the past week or so, but I’m still waking up 3 or 4 times per night, and it’s almost impossible to go back to sleep. The only way I can get decent sleep is to take extended release melatonin and then take pieces of a broken up quick dissolve time every time I wake up. I’m able to quickly go back to sleep if I do that.
Not really sure what to do next, but I was wondering if there’s any other supplements I might have luck with.
It’s so odd because I feel like live healthier than anyone I know.

I’ve been there. Many times. I’m still not the perfect sleeper, but it’s gotten better for me.
I need the following for good, consistent sleep:
Magnesium supplement at lunchtime
A cold room while underneath a few blankets (a weighted blanket would work)
Lower fat diet. Especially at night. Also I have to keep the calories lower at night and cut off eating by 8pm.
Stay hydrated during the day and monitor sodium intake. Doesn’t have to be low sodium, but if I eat really salty food, I need to be cognizant of increasing water intake. Limit water between 8pm and 10pm. Drink a small cup (4-6oz) before bed since I suffer from dry mouth at night.
Sound machine. We use a Dohm and also have an air purifier going.
Keep humidity levels in check. I’ve found that if my room is cool but the humidity is high, I’ll wake up uncomfortable and clammy in the middle of the night.
Shoulder and neck stretching and mobility work. I used to struggle with staying asleep because my pinkies and ring fingers would go numb. Not “fall asleep” tingly. Like go numb, numb. My GP made the connection between a lack of neck and shoulder mobility and my sleep position.
I know you mentioned things you’ve already addressed, but I felt that way too until I realized the standards of medical care might not apply to some of my idiosyncrasies. For example, my blood work showed great vitamin d and magnesium levels, but I completely eliminated my struggles with falling asleep after taking 1600iu of D and 600mg of Magnesium.
I guess what I’m saying is don’t settle on answers you think you have. You might need to trial and error some things to see if they work.
Oh another thing, I don’t feel stressed. I live a great, happy life. But I can be overworked and overtrained if I don’t watch myself. It’s just too much. Even though I know I can do family duties, work a full time job, play guitar, and work on my PhD while also doing a heavy full body split in the gym while running 20+ miles a week, my sleep indicates otherwise. Just because you think you feel fine and are accomplishing a lot doesn’t mean your body can actually handle it.

ZzzQuil makes a sleep aid called Pure Zzz’s, I take it every night. It’s drug free, it only has melatonin, valerian root, lavender and some other herbs.
It’s slow release melatonin so you stay asleep.

Look up what supplements Peter Attia takes for sleep. Glycine and a particular magnesium salt from what I can remember.

I had issues with falling asleep and staying asleep. Switching up my routine to go back to 5 am workouts helped with getting to sleep, but staying asleep required more for me. If you want to go the pharmaceutical route, talk to your doctor, but I take a low dose (12.5 mg) of Trazodone. It keeps me asleep, I can still wake up with no grogginess and head to the gym early.

I know you asked for supplements but one of the most important ways to get better sleep is to get direct morning sunlight every morning. Tons of other benefits but regarding sleep, this gets your circadian rhythm in the right motion.
Stick to the same bedtime/wake routine if possible.

A sleep mask. I’m getting 30 more minutes of sleep a night with one, which is huge for me. Unless your room is absolutely pitch black I would recommend trying it

Train at night. I go 7-8 pm and never have issues, but if I don’t workout I’ll wake up in the middle of the night

For some people night time exercise works well.
Sleep study. I have heard that sleep apnea is not just for fatties. Seems like your regular doc could get you a referral for one at an office that isn't trying to fleece you.

1. Massage roller before hitting the sack in order to relax muscles
2. Listen to a bedtime podcast or deep sleep YouTube while doing the massage roller
3. Clear thoughts somehow before - write in a journal, have sex, talk to a friend, etc

Zylaria by inno supplements.
My wife and I were on the apigenin, magnesium threonate and theanine for a while but bought some of the night shred, it knocked her out and she has a really hard time sleeping through the night.
The main ingredient for sleep in that is zylaria. I bought that and it works well.
