Depends - is that 76 in pg/ml or ng/dl. Mine originally showed up in my labwork as 97 pg/ml which I thought was decent but is only 9.7 ng/ml and in the 18th percentile (according to the gauge on my labs). In pg/ml, you are very low. In ng/dl you are very high with 76.

It’s pg/ml. I had bloodwork done just for general health reasons and not because of low T symptoms. My doc didn’t mention anything about it being low, but I didn’t ask either.

TTT… did your online TRT provider do an initial consult on protocol, and if you decided to, follow up with a prescription?

I think I need a second opinion on protocol, and I’m currently sitting here with 10 vials of TC so I do not necessarily need a prescription.

Just had a one month follow up and got labs taken, will get results Wednesday. PCP stood by one 200mg shot every 3 weeks, but I can keep doing subQ to see if it works. I want to increase the dose to 100 mg/wk but he advised not to (not his usual “starting dose”).

I feel kind of stuck, not sure where to go from here. Still feel like crud and need direction.

ETA:

Started TC on 1/10, due for next 50mg tomorrow

honestly i would find a new doctor or do online cause that dose is stupid.

should have started you at 100 or 140-150mg a week. your pcp doesnt really know what he is doing to be honest.

Yes they scheduled a ~15min zoom session with the Doc. We went over the various T forms (gel, oral, injectable), whether I wanted to preserve my berries and swimmers, and anything else that I wanted to bring up. A prescription followed as I already knew I wanted to go the injectable route due to its efficacy.

Yes you do but I'd say most online clinics are there to prescribe you the T. I'm not sure where to point you for just a Doc's advice on protocol. To be honest, most people on here are more knowledgeable than a PCP when it comes to TRT.

This person is an absolute clown on the subject if so.

Thanks TTT… I’m going to go ahead and self modify and do 200mg every 2 weeks and claim ignorance at my next checkup. When my levels come back needing . I’m not looking to mess around at the beginning of this thing.

Yea from my research on the topic, 100mg/week is a nice low starting point. Hell, my total T of ~610 wasn't low by any means and my doc said he was starting me on a "low dose of 140mg/wk" to see how I responded after 1 month. I would start at the 200/2wk you mention and go from there

Got my 5 wk lab back… 632 and I have no idea how. Here’s what I did:

Start: 100mg IM
Day 10: 50 mg IM
Day 15: 50 mg SubQ
Day 20: 50 mg SubQ
Day 24: Blood Test
Day 25: 200 mg IM
Day 29: Today

I’m going to try his way as mentioned in the post above and go back in a month towards the end of my next 200mg dose to compare.

632 is nice - what did you start at 5 weeks ago?

154, collection date of 12/20. It could have been lower by the time I started. I’m wondering if stress was a factor in it being so low initially because I felt so bad I thought something else was wrong with me, and I wasn’t sleeping well.

That’s a good increase but that’s also right after peak. Peak is between 48-72 hours usually.

I did for fertility and it was absolutely awful. I’d rather have a total T of 85

Can you all learn me on Boron? Should I take it while on TRT? I keep seeing it mentioned in different discussions.

Paging 777

I don’t take boron. I don’t see a need for additional pills to increase my T if I’m already on oils but others may chime in with more info.

I’m already going broke keeping up with all the other supplements and vitamins
