Today marks the end of my first six weeks. I've gone from 246 to 232.
Routine-wise, I have been doing the P90X Lean program, plus walking two miles at a 3 mph pace for 40 minutes. Additionally, at work, I have taken the time to go up six flights of stairs three times a day.
Food-wise, I have cut out Powerade Zero completely. Meals have been protein heavy. For breakfast, I have been having a cup of blueberries with a scoop of protein powder, a smaller scoop of peanut butter, and about a cup of 1% or 2% milk. This has doubled as my after workout boost as well. I have a protein bar about 9:30am, lunch (chicken heavy), a Fairlife protein shake as an afternoon snack, and then dinner.
To this point, the only added sugar dessert I have had has been a piece of cheesecake around week 5. Other than that, I have cut out all processed sugar with the exception of some 85% dark chocolate here and there.
Thank you all again for your advice on how to get things back on track.

That’s awesome! Keep it up man. I started working out about 5 years ago and have stayed consistent 5-6 days a week and have gotten into really good shape. I’d be in better shape if I could get my diet under control. Sugar is my downfall. I’m terrible with candy and ice cream. Straight childish with it
