I’ve been doing it since June and have lost 20 pounds. I’m 5’10 170 now. Here’s what I do:

Monday-Thursday I eat one meal at 6. Whatever I want

Friday and Saturday I do the 18-6.

Sunday I don’t fast.

Highly recommended

0% chance I could survive on 1 meal. I would have to eat an 8 piece family meal from Popeye's to get all of my calories in.

What have you been eating for your 1 meal?

I thought so too but I got to the point now that I’m not really that hungry during the day. Just drink water and black coffee.

I’ll eat whatever I’m feeling. Burrito from Moes with chips, Jersey Mikes, Steak, bread and veggies, hamburger and fries, pasta. My wife makes hello fresh meals twice a week. If you can’t do one a day I’d recommend the 18-6.

Side note. It’s crazy how good your one meal tastes.

This is what I’m thinking too. I do the IF deal too, but it’s a light, high protein lunch between 1-2 and then whatever I want for dinner between 5-7.

I really don’t think about it Monday through Thursday. One less thing to worry about with no lunch

So I personally do something similar when cutting.

M-TH

I eat one meal around 5:30-6 as I workout at 8pm(garage gym)

My one meal consist of 12-16oz steak and 4-6 eggs.

On days I lift I have a 75g protein shake post workout.

On Sundays sometimes I do that routine, other times I may have eggs and some smoked deer sausage for breakfast. Us my 6pm meal and protein shake after lifting.

Friday I usually only have one meal, but it can vary depending on what we are doing for dinner. If we aren't going out, it's usually a pound of brisket.

Saturday usually depends on what is going on, but in general I try and limit to two meals. Only day I will really have carbs.

I lift Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and only have protein shake on those days.

On other days I may do cardio, may not depending on how I am feeling.

The above is just how I personally like to do it as it keeps it simple for me. I personally like ketoish style but nothing special about it.

Sometimes on non lifting days I don't eat at all.

I do something similar and don't work out. Lost 60 lbs in 2019. Aiming for another 60 for 2020.
