I have been on keto about 5 months and I am so done with all the meat. I am thinking high fat (olive oil and avocados) Mediterranean may help with all the veggies I crave. I will continue to stay away from grains. Has anyone had health/weight loss success with this way of eating?

I think you need to work on the precision of your dietary terminology.

OP you just made a comment about stopping keto which triggered all the pompous asses on this board. I’ve known several people who enjoyed and lost weight from the Mediterranean diet. Just do some research and there’s lots of info out there on it. MD is pretty self explanatory on types of food to eat but many recipes out there. This board doesn’t know much outside of keto and fasting.

If you’re in caloric deficit and are eating enough protein then go for it. You don’t have to eat a ton of meat to hit your nutrition goals, but you should eat at least a few servings per week. A chicken breast here, a fish filet there. If you can sustain the eating habits long term and reach your goals physically, go for it.
