Kinobody: Fake or legit?

I’ve seen some ads from Kinobody. Is this legit or just another money pit? Anyone have any experience.

He puts before and after pics of people who try his program so I'm going for legit.
He is kind of a douchebag and lots of his posts are cringeworthy, but the programs look legit.

So what exactly is it? Workout programs and nutrition plans based around body types?
Posted on 2/18/18 at 11:35 pm to DeafJam73
I think you work out 3 days a week and do intermittent fasting.

I wish I could fast. I lift early in the a.m. then work on my feet all day. I have to eat. I’m working on shedding
fat, but I’m just trying to eat clean, wholesome meals and keep control of my portions.

Wow! Thanks Spock. I’ll definitely have to dive into that tomorrow.

That is the calculator to go along with it. It's essentially a program for those that only want to lift 3 times per week. The other 3 days you just get an hour of activity preferably outside like a sport or a walk/bike ride.
The diet is just iifym based with intermittent fasting
And yes you can fast if you lift early. Put your eating window around your workout and don't eat at night. Or just suck it up for a couple of weeks and lift fasted, have amino acids right after and during the workout then eat 12-8. Will suck at first but you will get used to it and it's the best way for if when trying to lose fat.
Btw kinobody is just a simplier version with good advertising of the leangains system. But made for those who don't really want to do dealift and squats. Leangains is the better system but doesn't have the support kinobody does with the Facebook groups etc.

I took advice from here and started the Greek God Kinobody program 3 weeks ago. I added squats to the leg day workout, and I also added a couple supplemental workouts to both workout days. I have had a consistent increase in strength on all of my main lifts, and I have dropped about 7 pounds. I do run or box on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also go in on Saturdays sometimes to do a little full body circuit. I feel like it is a pretty good program if you tweak it a little and add a few lifts here and there. I will probably stick with the current format for another 9 weeks or so before I switch over to the 3-day split format.
p.s. Greg O'Gallagher is a huge douche and super cringeworthy. I definitely like his workout, but he sucks.

He posted a response video to people saying he couldn't deadlift. So he deadlifted like 400 pounds or something.
I mean, why?
Are you THAT insecure? You look great and you seem to make a lot of money. Who gives a frick what some dude named "BigBubba'sBiceps" says on YouTube?

Thanks for the link. No squats? How is it leg day without squats?

Yea he is a douche. Also that whole thing about having a bad back so he can't squat and deadlift is bullshite. He said before when he first came out he thought that squats caused a feminine sweep of the legs and that deadlifts make your waist big.
Also he is a former client of Martin berkham of leangains. He essentially stole Martin's system, dropped squats, dropped deadlifts and got rid of the caloric/macro cycling portion of leangains. Essentially he made it for the masses that are intimidated by squats, deads, and high protein amounts. Then he did an amazing job with the marketing of the programs. Much better than Martin has or could ever do.
I said it before, but Greg essentially created a program that is palletable for the masses who don't really actually like to workout especially guys in their 20s. He appeals to that with the douche Instagram videos he makes. It's actually genius and I am 100% jealous I didn't think of it first.

Well he has Bulgarian squats. Read my reply though, will explain it.

I can easily wait until 12 to eat. I’m guessing I would have to cut the protein shake I have after though, right? Before I lift I take Muscle Pharm Assault, 5 grams of creatine and 2 BCAA tablets. Post workout is protein shake with 10 grams of creatine, 2 BCAA pills, a ELA 369 pill and a probiotic. I’m open to changing that if there is something better.

Martin explains it pretty good in the above link.

That article answeres all my questions. Thanks man.

That take is 100% spot on.
I still can't get over this.

Sooooooo...does it work? If you strip down a proven program to make it more palatable, the results typically suck.
Posted on 2/19/18 at 2:58 pm to JJ27
no its still a proven system.
Diet is iifym with 30% or so protein and intermittent fasting.
Lifting program calls for using reverse pyramid training and/or rest pause on most lifts. He has you perform big lifts like bench/incline, barbell press/db press, weighted chin ups, rows etc.
just no squats, deads or seal rows like leangains and he tends to focus alot on smaller isolation exercises.
But the system works damn good, just not as good as leangains imo.

A friend at work sent me this a while back and I've been using the exercise part of it but pairing with bench/ squat/deadlifts on different days, along with core and running in off days (either long runs or track workouts). So it sounds like what I do is not that dissimilar from the leangains workout mentioned anyway.
I don't really worry about the diet part as much other than to say I'm pretty rigid and eat fairly lean anyway. Intermittent fasting sounds horrible to me.
And yeah the Greg guy is unbelievably douchey but a marketing genius. One thing I'll say about it is if you stick strictly to the regimen he provides, you're probably in and out of the gym in 45 mins and its only 3x week.
