These caught my eye at the grocery store yesterday. I read the label and HOLY shite, they are 15-20 carbs per bar!

Watch out for these things folks. Read the labels.

That and they have malitol which should be avoided like crazy. It’s worse than sugar in some people in terms of spike blood glucose levels.

Still at 8 for the Atkins, and I think 7-10 for the "Keto" I was in a hurry, but I remember it being a lot.

I understand that on the Atkins program you progress toward more carbs, but to call the other ones Keto is terrible.

If you got 7 grams per meal you'd be ok. That's right at around 20 per day. If you were in a hurry once in a blue moon would probably be ok.

well just depends on what you use it for. They are made as meal replacements. If you are in a bind, and need something on the go. As snacks, ywah you are wasting your time

Quest and Kirkland knockoff are a much better choice. Add an MCT shot and some macadamias and you're set.

That's mostly erythritol (and fiber). Which is a lot better than maltitol but I understand some purists still count it.

I’ll agree the slimfast keto label is misleading, but Atkins isn’t keto and not claiming to be, so I have no issue. If the choice is a slimfast “keto” peanut butter cup or a Reese’s peanut butter cup, the slimfast is a better option.
