The biggest thing I've been keying in on is the inefficiency of converting ALA to DHA and EPA Omega 3s. While flax is loaded w 3 and has only trace 6 (similar but less so w chia), the bioavailability of the "good stuff" just isn't there. It's worse for men than women. Between 5-10% conversion overall.
Salmon, trout (esp lake trout--ick), mackerel, tuna. Fatty fish is really important. Again, I do krill oil also.
