got an inbody done today again. Had really good progress

Weight-

12/31- 204.8
3/11- 195.2

down 9.6 lbs

Body fat mass-

12/31- 51.6
3/11- 39.6

down 12 lbs

Dry Lean mass-

12/31- 41.7
3/11- 42.6

up 0.9 lbs

SMM-

12/31- 88.4
3/11- 90.4

up 2 lbs

Body fat Percentage-

12/31- 25.1
3/11- 20.3

down 4.8% and 7.3lbs of fat in the trunk which is huge

overall very happy with the results as even with water down my lean body mass was up. trying to get SMM back above 95lbs by the end of the year and get below 10% by july. will keep working the greyskull lp aesthetics template and will slowly start adding in the conditioing sessions.

Great stuff man, keep it up. How are you getting digital copies of your scans? I only get a hard copy.

Iron Tribe has one for their members or anyone doing one of their 3-6 week challenges.

Use the app to review your scores and compare your history.

This thread has really helped and I started paying for inbody tests here in Montgomery County, TX.

I'm a 38 year old , genetically inferior office guy but tracking has really helped.

Since 7/2022 to today:

10 pounds of body fat loss
7 pounds of muscle gain
27% bf to 19%
6 foot , 187
Scale weight nearly identical

Not the fastest progress but I've only stalled for one month. Really just better decisions with portions , increased cardio @ F45, and increase in water daily. I have backed off half & full marathon training.

I have a buffer when progress slows to add 1-2 days of gym + reduce alcohol.

Next step is 15% which inbody says is 8.6 pounds of fat.

Thats fantastic results! Good job! Keep that shite up! I haven't been very consistent with my lifting or diet, but I decided this week to start being stricter on myself. Hopefully in a few weeks, I can report some decent progress.

Thanks guys.

Like most of us , I'm just looking for something sustainable and create more of a foundation in fitness.

No value in me doing 1100 calories , no alcohol, and getting a salad with no dressing after our daughter's soccer tournaments. I could do it for a while then yo-yo & burn out.

My buffer is sort of tightening in naturally with more energy, healthy foods tasting better, and cravings more related to fuel & recovery than social cues.

Small example, I drive a ton for work and would break and get fast food too often. Now I have a healthy option available in my car versus 1200 empty calories. Those are easy corrections so far + no desire to burn out.

I'll hit a plateau eventually due to overall
sub-optimal diet, age, and genetics but I'll reevaluate, work through it and correct.

I'm not really dieting at the moment, but holding steady at approximately 205 (6'). Abs aren't defined, but are showing. Chest is a lot more defined. Happy with progress. I'll do another inbody scan in a month or two maybe.

Has anyone tried the home versions that InBody makes? If they’re comparable, daily tracking would be great.

I haven't but I have read reviews that they are not really comparable to the expensive models.

Honestly, I think I'd hate tracking all of that daily. Its bad enough I have a scale in my bathroom, and I get all in my own head every time I step on it and its a pound or two more than the day before.

I get what you mean. I track weight daily, but only really pay attention to the weekly average.
