Melatonin, limit caffeine, and exercise. I get about 7 to 9 (10 sometimes on weekends). You may also have sleep apnea

Bipap machine

Agree with all behavioral elements in your process to achieve 6 3/4 hrs.

Structural element? For me, it was.

Good luck

If this is the case, they you may as well so no alcohol at all. I don’t see how recommending morning drinks are going to a benefit to the guy.

It's amazing the difference between just 5 hours and 7 hours of sleep.

Yep, 6 is the magic number for me. I have been tracking my sleep with the Pillow app. It’s pretty darn acuurare for recording how many/frequently or wake up during the night. If I have less that 6 hours, I am definitely off the next next day.

How do you know only 1hr REM sleep per night? Typically the sleep cycle from N1-N3 and REM lasts only 2-3 hrs and it would seem you get at least two of those cycles.

Some people only require 6-7 hrs and maybe you're one of them. Do you feel tired/fatigued through the day? Also, not sure of your age, but perhaps you'll naturally start to sleep more as you age.

Been using a weighted blanket for a while. I feel it helps keep me stay asleep.
