Since muscle only grows in recovery after training..

Do you weight train everyday?

How much sleep do you get?

Do you nap during the day?

I weight traine Mon, Wed and Fri. I run on Tues and Thurs. Sat and Sun are off days except active recovery. I don’t get enough sleep, but I try to get at least 6-7 hours. Naps? I’m not in college anymore man.

Following because I think I might be over-doing it. I get 9 work outs in per week (3 runs, 3 functional/body weight training, and 3 lifts) and I sleep 4-5 hours per night. I've been on this routine for about 5 months now and my body feels fatigued, but i feel like absolute shite if I miss a workout day.

You work out like Micahel Phelps and sleep like a soldier and you’re fatigued? No shite man.

I don't need a lot of sleep. I can't sleep more than 6 hours in a row no matter how hard I try, but that pre-dated my workout schedule.

Well then I would just scale down the number of exercise sessions. You’re not giving your body enough time to recover. Reduce to twice and instead of three times daily. If you’re eating an appropriate diet, you won’t need to workout that much.

haha neither am I. But I try to get to gym by 5am then work til about 4-5 on my feet all day. If I sit down when I get home, I'm out. Not by choice sometimes.

i normally dont have time to nap during the day other than on weekends, i also always rest on sundays, or with the sport I play if we have a hard practice that day i don't hit the gym.
also it's a little worse for me with school I only get a good 7 hours of sleep a night if I'm lucky

Same, but I can’t sleep that night so I try to stay awake until it’s time for bed.

i like to do something active everyday but i rest muscle groups that are sore. so when i wake up and my backs sore and my legs are a little tight, il do some chest and core.

The next day i wake up and re-evaluate whats sore and whats not and then go from there.

Lift on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Sleep about 6-8 hours a night.

Eat way too much.

Wednesday is a rest day and fairly active on weekends being an adult and doing adult things.

Weights Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday (Greyskull LP)

Running Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday (30 mpw)

Rest Friday

Sleep about 6.5-7 hours a night. Feel like I need a little more.

I consider Monday a rest day. Just an easy 3 miler about two minutes over easy pace (12ish minutes per mile).
