Also starting to look at the Rogue RML-390F Flat Foot Monster Lite Rack. It is a little more expensive than the R3, but it has the long flat feet that doesn't require any bolting down.

Did you count in shipping in your prices?

Shipping cost between the R3 and the flat foot monster lite is negligible. Although the flat foot is about $150 more, it doesn't need to be bolted down and it has a bigger cage compared to the R3. Neither of them is cheap ($650 and $800), but they will probably last a lifetime.

So I think I've settled in on the Rogue Flat Foot Monster Lite rack, and the rogue chan bar. Now I just need some inexpensive rubber flooring, a bench and some cheap rubber weights to get started. Any places online that have good deals?

for the rubber flooring, goto tractor supply and get 3/4" horse stall mats.
Why are you getting rubber bumper plates instead of regular cast iron?
for bench, i would suggest the rogue bolt together flat bench for now and then upgrade to an adjustable bench. If you must go with adjustable now you could go with the reps fitness AB-3000 or the iron master super bench. Just a warning though the iron master is quite high which can make bench difficult.

No reason in particular. Just have gotten use to rubber plates of the years. Cast iron would work just fine. They are probably cheaper I would imagine.
I'm not dead set on adjustable, as I can stand and do shoulder press, and raise a flat bench with a few weights for incline, just thought it would be easier to get adjustable, but now I'm seeing they are much more expensive.
I read about the horse stall matts. They're are plenty of tractor supply stores around, I will hit them up.
Thanks for the advice. Will update with pics later on, probably will be a few months from now.

Get cast iron and the rogue flat. I have the bolt together version to account for any uneven flooring.

After thinking about everything for a few days, I'm going to switch back to the Rogue R-3 rack and have my brother bring over his hammer drill to bolt it to the concrete in my storage area....Think the R-3 will be more than sufficient. Although I am sidelined for I don't know how long after hurting my back doing romanian deadlifts. Felt a small pop and having pain upon extension. In a brace right now, and having an MRI today. Hopefully nothing serious. Frustrating though.....

Most likely a facet joint pop. It hurts and you will not be able to move well but you need to keep upright and moving. If you sit or lay down too much you will make it take longer. It's nothing serious if that is the case.

Yea I was thinking that or a ligament sprain. Gonna have an mri just in case. Deductible is met. It’s uncomfortable but not severe. Definitely not muscular

That one is nice but I can get the rogue for the same price.

Surprised Dave doesn't put Westside spacing on his racks. If that had it, I would get that over the rogue since it's 3x3.

He RML flat foot is 3x3 as well. Still looking at that option too. I just can’t see myself needing more space than that’s in the R3?

Honestly, the R3 is more than enough to handle what you need. I think Westside barbell uses the R3 at their gym. To say that heavy weight has seen those racks is an understatement.

I think you are more indecisive than I am. Haha

Haha I know. Well I’m not in any rush, so I have time to mull it over.......welp minor bulging disc at s1 and a small tear at L4-L5. Should heal up in a few weeks without rest and nsaids. Sucks though.
