Has anyone upgraded parts on a Concept 2 Rower Model C?

I purchased one in my neighborhood for $100. It is in good shape and works well. The digital readout is dead and I think I can buy a new one from C2 for around $180. It is fairly loud but not that bad. Are there any of parts that can be replaced and improved upon?

I bought a C years back and took everything apart cleaned out all the dust, replaced the chain and the monitor, it was good as new.

Call concept 2. They are super helpful and might have some recommendations on what to replace.

I ordered my screen on EBay.
I did end up changing all of the parts of the rower. Pulley pieces, chain and rope. I’d recommend doing that depending on how old it is.
