Happy’s Running Club will be at Bengal Tap Room for the time being

For any BR runners that attend or haven’t been recently:
Two for one beer specials (normal price but placed in a larger cup) and tonight they had $3 tacos. Didn’t try the food but the beer selection is better than Happy’s. Not sure if the Taco Tuesday special is a usually thing but I do know they have had appetizer specials on different days of the week.

Yes. Runs start at 6:15pm with an assigned route that is posted to their Facebook group around 4pm every Tuesday.

I like to lift and do cardio, but I can’t imagine the type of people that go to this kind of event. Not my crowd for damn sure.

There are runners, joggers, walkers, people who bring their dogs, people who run with their kids. It's a fun time. Everyone hangs out and drinks afterwards. It's a very open group that anyone can join.

I guarantee you there are people in this run club that are more fit than you.
Some of those dudes dont frick around when it comes to running.

I need to get back to do doing this run. It’s usually a 5k at your own pace. Nice people too

Correct. Everyone that runs at Happy's is relatively chill. It's a fun run that most of the quicker guys will take a bit more serious and put down not so slow time. Libations afterward help as well. Everyone is there to have a good time.
Only thing right now is that it gets damn cold when the sun goes down. The night I posted we ran the levee route which is almost 3 miles of out and back on the levee. That wind over the river bites hard.
