So I’ve done some research online but curious if any of y’all have had this type of thing happen.
I find that on long bike rides my my right hand starts going numb. More specifically around my thumb and forefinger. I’ve gotten out of biking but it’s just something I remembered today because my thumb was going numb while weighted vest walking today and kinda extended up my arm (also right side). I noticed it Saturdays also while doing weighted vest walking and farmer’s carry with 10 lb weights

Maybe a pinched nerve in your elbow or something??

i had forefinger and thumb numbness consistently for quite some time at one point. it was a midly bulging cervical disc. one steroid injection and a few month of rehab did the trick.

Since it's occurring while gripping, might be carpal tunnel.

I've had that issue forever. Mine is worse the hotter it is and almost non-existent in cool weather. Also, riding without gloves is better for me than with.

A pinched nerve in your neck can also cause this.
