My strategy to stop eating at night is I brush my teeth when I get the urge, sometimes right after supper. I'm not less hungry, but I'm not going to eat after.

Keep it simple. Don't over complicate it.
Start slow and find out what you like to do. Eat sensible. After a few months dial it in more if you need to. Just be consistent.
Don't just jump on somebody else's program.

I have no idea how this thread got bumped, but it’s pretty ironic. I was going to come here today to post that. I squatted 405 yesterday. That’s a PR and first time over 400.
I have gotten a lot better shape since I posted this a couple of years ago. I find that I am most enjoy strength work. I’ve lost some weight. Not a ton, but I’m as athletic as I’ve ever been. My body comp has changed substantially.
