Hope it goes well Just know that once you start donating, it’ll be an ongoing thing. Your body will likely bounce back higher after donating.

I looked back at my labs from June 2024 and June 2025 at my regular doctor. Hematocrit was 44 and 43 on those two labs.

Two months after my June 25 lab at Gameday, my hematocrit jumped to 50. Seems to me that between possible stress (white coat syndrome), dehydration and the fact that the nurse took a while to find the vein after putting that band on my arm could've made that number spike.
