or something similar? One of my buddies who is late 40s and pretty jacked swears by it. He says it just makes him feel better, but it is pricey.

There’s lots of green powder on the market. Does anyone have experience with these? Are they worth it?

I’m not knocking it, but wouldn’t it be healthier and cheaper to just up your consumption of leafy greens the old fashioned way?

I don’t think it’s meant to be a vegetable replacement.

Couldn’t the same be said about protein powder?

Fair enough on your first comment.

On the second, I’m not so sure. Protein powder is a pretty cheap way to really boost protein input. Steak and chicken, which is likely preferable, can get pricey when you’re trying to get 1g+ per pound of body weight.

I've been taking Green Vibrance from Vitamin Shoppe. It's a bit pricey, and I don't consider it as a replacement for veggies, but rather a supplement with more diverse nutrients than I would otherwise get even with the most ideal diet.

I use it. It is kind of expensive, but I put it in a pre workout shake I take everyday that has few things in it.

FOG
Creatine
Beet root powder
Bovine Collagen
Apple cider vinegar
Electrolyte pack

Does it really do anything? I don't know. I feel like it's a better concoction than a typical pre-workout.

And I'm not eating the amount of micronutrients on my own that it has in it. Can't be a bad thing to have it in a powder form to make sure I get some of the benefits.

Also, the reason I chose FOG is that the label says nutrition facts not supplement facts.

Just too expensive for me. I tried it for a month but I have no real way of evaluating it's effects.
