Every time I go into Fast mode I find I'm up most of the night. Just wondering if anyone else experiences this. And even if I take Melatonin.

Maybe. I've found it to be very effective at losing weight and my blood sugar numbers fell of a cliff and I'm no longer diabetic

What's the fasting schedule? I assume we're talking Intermittent Fasting.

well yea because you are in a caloric deficeit but you can also gain weight if you eat in a caloric surplus, even while fasting....thats what i meant about nothing magic about it.

i do IF just to be clear and love it. and yea it can help with blood sugar

but from a weightloss perspective...nothing magic is what i meant.

I haven't experienced it, but I'm usually sleeping after a feeding period... so a side effect is being tired.

I did do a 48 hour fast recently, and I didn't experience any insomnia on the second evening while in a fasted state, either.

For sure it's an issue for me. I'll take a cbd sleep gummy and listen to some binaural sleep beats on YouTube (you may have to spring for YT Premium to avoid being woken up by commercials.

BTW binaural power naps on YT are life changing - even if I don't fully fall asleep I wake up extremely energized after 30 mins

Disagree with you there - fasting has amazing benefits (anti aging, testosterone, HGH) and if you've ever had older pets you'll see they fast in order to heal and that it WORKS.

Make sure your pillow is super firm so that your ear buds don't get knocked out.

Eat around 7 p.m. Nothing to eat till noon next day, usually a light snack. Then eat a smallish meal for supper. Low carb all the way.

Somebody's losing / has lost some body fat

Guaranteed with that approach, if diligently followed with fidelity

Believe wtf you want. The studies when it comes to weight loss show I am right. The testosterone and hgh increases are miniscule.

And every other benifit of if pretty much comes from being in a caloric deficit.

I once believed all fo that stuff too, I was wrong. I still practice IF but there is nothing magic about it.
