Does creatine HCL really stop the water bloat?

Lots of reading with lots of different opinions so I'm looking for your own personal anecdotes.
I love creatine but I hate getting that water retention look. HCL seems to solve that, at least if you believe the hype.
It costs more too.

I mean the water bloat with creatine monohydrate is extremely exaggerated in my experience.

HCL is a gimmick. By nature all creatine uses body water

The water is intracellular not subcutaneous I’m pretty sure. Mono is the way to go

I got it from Amazon from bulk supplements. It’s in a white bag that is 1kg
