Do I need 2 dumbbells?
So I ordered the Bowflex 552’s and just got them in.

Like many I am trying to have workout at home gear and to date I have been using my peloton and push-ups and sit-ups for strength.

My question is, since I have no bench to do presses etc, would one dumbbell suffice for non bench workouts? Sell one or keep both?

Just playing devil’s advocate, but he can do all of these with one dumbbell and allow for offset training for more core involvement

That said, if it was me, I would keep both just because I could do heavier loads

Uh. You don’t need a bench to do presses. Floor presses are perfectly fine and honestly safer for your shoulders. Might be harder to do heavier loads, but I’ve taken 60-70s to the floor.

Keep them both so you can do one of the best full body movements; the dumbbell thruster.

I did DB presses on the floor until my bench came in.
