Hit volume upper Monday and volume lower on Tues. Just forgot to post.

Trying to use weighted pushups for volume and hypertrophy and belt squats for lower hypertrophy without extra back and core stress. Other than that, same old same old.

weighted pushups for volume

very very very underrated hypertropy exercise especially if done on rings or on parallel bars with feet elevated atleast to parallel.

No rings to try that, but I did 4 giant sets of weighted pushups, 2 with elevated feet along with rows, and either side laterals or skull crushers. Bloodflow restriction biceps to end.

How do you find Z Press? I hear good things about it and OHP, but haven't integrated it due to shoulder issues.

Heavy squat triples to 345. 3 backoff giant sets of belt squats, rdl's, ghr's and spinal extensions with the ssb.

Finished with core circuit. 70 lb single arm waiters walks, hollow rocks and calves for 3 giant sets.

I like it a lot, and find it to be a great change of pace from strict OHP. I stalled at 130 for OHP for a while, so I just started intergrating it. The isolation helps me with my sticking point, which is the lockout.

Cool.

Heavy upper. Bench doubles to 255. Then 3 backoff giant sets of weighted pushups, rows, banded dips and curls.

Farmers walks with 230 a hand and then some sledgehammer swings supersetted with the gorilla grip to finish.

I've never been to Louisiana, but the new Wayne and Kevin Gates albums were a little bit of flavor for tonight's music.

Good taste. I never know if people are giving me ****, but workout music is a to each their own thing.

I do love the home gym where if you want Carter 5 on the boombox, you get it. Not the dance mix version of Carter 5 at LA Fitness.

Experimenting with dialing back the volume a tad.

3x5 bench at 80% of 1rm,in giant sets with sandbag rows and side laterals. 3x5 weighted pushups with pause in giant sets with rows, banded dips and curls.

Finished with sledgehammer swings and some bloodflow restriction bicep work.

Wtf is a Carter 5? I guess I am getting old but I figured if it was popular it would be on kids bop as that's all I get to listen to outside of the gym.

Carter 5 is Lil Wayne's latest album. If you have kids, maybe not their speed.

Carter 5, Luca Brasi 3 and Kamikaze, like DeafJam mentioned...it's been a good few weeks for rap albums.

I feel like I’m in high school again. My three favorite rappers are back. Wayne sounds just as good as he used to, Eminem is back to ruining lives and Gates delivers again. frick. Yes.
